Barack Obama Video – “Still I Rise” by Yolanda Adams
We need qualified Black Educators from the Haitian Community and the Algerian (African) Community here in Montreal, Quebec, Canada to teach French to out Anglophone (English speaking) Black Youth and Adults here in my bourough of Notre-Dame-de-Grace/ Cote-des- Neiges.
Black Youth here in NDG/CDN need to be taught by Black Educators who are qualified to teach.
We need Black Educators who are patient and who have those ‘SOFT SKILLS’ everyone is talking about.
And we especially need Black Educators who see education as a crucial way to UPLIFT our Black Youth. Our communitie(s).
Education needs to be a ”calling”……WE NEED EDUCATORS WHO SEE TEACHING AS A “CALLING”.
Separating ignorant Black Parents from their children is not going to improve our Society.
In fact, I would argue that it does the exact opposite. WE DO NOT NEED ANY MORE ANGRY BLACK ADULTS IN MONTREAL. Trust me.
We need to begin the arduous task of educating ignorant Parents and enlightening their children —-exposing them to a completely different way of learning and interacting with others in Montreal Society. It is not always about Black and White.
We need to broaden the scope as to what a ‘community” is.
If White teachers in this City have a problem with educating us. Black Educators need to pick up the ball.
Oh….and btw, these Black Educators need to be paid very, very well for all the hard work that they do.
No more of this BULL SHIT inequities——————–show us the MON—–NEEEEYY!!!

I spoke tothis on dark, dark, skinned Black girl once………………we were talking about skin care products.
She said that her Mother makes her use ‘skin lightening” cream because — she says that the girl is too dark .
In other words ——her Mother would rather that her child develop MELANOMA than be the dark skinned GODDESS – QUEEN that she is???
We need to kick that SHIT to the curb—-for real……….ok?…………..ok???
